Ashitaba Extract 50:1
A concentrated whole-plant extract of ashitaba (Angelica keiskei), a perennial herb native to Japan. Its Japanese name means “tomorrow's leaf,” referring to the plant's rapid leaf regrowth after harvesting. It is also known as Japanese angelica, shin-sun cho, or koidzumi.
Flavor and preparation
Green, earthy, and distinctly bitter with a mild celery-like character. The fine brown powder is water soluble and can be stirred into hot water or blended into smoothies, soups, sauces, and baked goods according to the product directions.
